Scattered showers and storms will be on the increase this week as a mid/upper level trough works west across the northern Gulf. Best coverages will be Tuesday into Wednesday as the trough works across the area as it weakens (40-50% coverage). By the end of the week some drying will be possible as some drier air works in. Once again this is a normal Summer here in SE Texas with scattered daily storms.

Future radar below (Top graphic) is for Monday, scattered thunderstorms (30% Coverage) along the sea breeze, (bottom graphic Tuesday) shows even a better coverage with the sea breeze as an upper Low works in from the east. 40-50% Coverage Tuesday.

An upper level Low/disturbance will move into the area Tuesday from the east.

Monday look for a 30% coverage of showers and thunderstorms.

Tuesday, rain chances increase to a 40-50% coverage of showers and thunderstorms due to an influx of gulf moisture and disturbance.

 Friday of this week, drier weather returns as high pressure aloft begins to rebuild over the region with highs inching back into the middle 90s.
