Polk County, TX - On May 9th of this year, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, in cooperation with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Criminal Investigations Division, arrested Charlie Joe King III. It was a multi-agency narcotics investigation in Polk County.
The investigation continued and now four additional people have been arrested.

Michael Eugene Bunting III
•Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 1 >4G <200G (Cocaine)
•Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 1 >4G <200G (Methamphetamine)

Joe Thomas Harrison
•Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 1 (Cocaine)
•Abandon/Endanger Child
•Warrant Pending Issuance for Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 1 (Cocaine)

Gladis Ortega Cruz (Warrants Pending Issuance)
•Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 >4G <200G (Cocaine)
•Tampering with Evidence
•Abandon/Endanger Child

Desiree Elizabeth King Initially arrested for Abandon/Endanger a Child, additional investigation led to the issuance of further warrants for:
•Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 >400G (Cocaine)
•Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 >4G <200G (Fentanyl)
•Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 >4G <200G (Methamphetamine)
•Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 >4G <200G (Crack Cocaine)
•Possession of Controlled Substance PG 2A >5LBS <50LBS (Synthetic Marijuana)
