CHESTER, Texas — The Chester Water Supply Corporation has issued a boil water notice for customers on FM 1745 North and County Road 2590 due to a line break reported Thursday.
Officials say the notice is a precaution after the possibility of contamination in the water system. Affected residents are urged to boil water for at least two minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, or hygiene.

Children, seniors, and those with weakened immune systems are especially advised to take precautions.
The notice will remain in effect until water tests confirm it is safe. Updates will be provided once the advisory is lifted. For more information, call (936) 969-2360.
