Chester ISD Launches Gift Card Drive to Aid Flood-Affected Kerr County Families
CHESTER, Texas — Chester Independent School District is collecting gift cards to help families in Kerr County recover from recent flooding that has devastated communities across Texas.
The school district, in partnership with its FFA chapter, is seeking donations of gift cards from Lowe’s, Home Depot, Walmart, and Visa or Mastercard to support residents in need of supplies, food, and essential rebuilding materials.

The collected gift cards will be sent directly to the affected areas for local distribution.
While Chester ISD is closed this week, donors can arrange drop-offs by contacting Mrs. Bendy at (936) 676-5585.
Recent storms and floods have displaced families and caused widespread damage in Kerr County and other parts of Texas, prompting relief efforts from schools, civic groups, and volunteers statewide.
