Gib Lewis employee arrested and charged with Organized Criminal Activity

ETB has learned that an employee at the Gib Lewis Prison Unit in Woodville has been arrested and charged with Organized Criminal Activity.
A spokesperson for the prison, Amanda Hernandez said that on February 22nd of this year, 32-year-old Jalicia Stewart was arrested by the Office of the Inspector General at the Gib Lewis Unit and charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity which is a 1st degree felony, Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, also a 1st degree felony, and a 3rd degree felony of Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.
Hernandez added, "As this is still an ongoing investigation, I cannot provide more information at this time."
