Historic W.T. Colmesneil House to Host Community Open House Aug. 2

COLMESNEIL, Texas — The W.T. Colmesneil House will open its doors to the public Saturday, August 2, for a special open house event celebrating the town’s history and heritage.

Guests are welcome to visit anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to tour the historic home, located at 106 S Pitzer Street (FM 3065). The event will feature local stories, historical displays, and light refreshments.

Organizers say the open house is a chance for the community to connect with its past and learn more about the legacy of Colmesneil through preserved artifacts and shared memories.
