Hot and Humid 7 Day Forecast

Upper-level high pressure will build over the state over the next few days resulting in hot, humid and mainly dry conditions. Lows will be in the 70s with highs in the lower to as warm as the middle 90s.

The high will move off and weaken Sunday Night.

A series of upper-level disturbances and surge in moisture will enhance rainfall early next week and cooling afternoon temperatures.

Potential rainfall amounts during the next seven days will be on the order of 1-2 inches mainly the first-half of next week.

The first half of next week, the high will move away allowing increasing atmospheric moisture and upper-level disturbances to return to the area resulting in improving rain chances.

Building upper-level high pressure over the state will result in afternoon high temperatures a few degrees above normal with mainly dry conditions through at least Saturday.

The heat index may climb into the middle to upper 90s across Southeast Texas Thursday.

Isolated showers, storms are possible this evening mainly in Western Hardin and Tyler Counties.
