WOODVILLE, Texas — The Texas Conservation Alliance is inviting children and families to “Catch the Fun” at a series of free, multi-day fishing events this summer at Magnolia Ridge Campground in East Texas.

The program is open to children ages 3–12 who are accompanied by an adult and will run from 9 a.m. to noon on July 26, August 2, and August 9 at the campground’s designated kid’s fishing pond.
The event is designed to introduce young anglers to the outdoors while fostering respect for nature and wildlife conservation. Participants are encouraged to bring fishing poles, bait (worms recommended), water bottles, sunscreen, and bug spray. The Alliance will provide water and light snacks, with a limited number of fishing kits available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event is sponsored in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. For details or to register, visit www.tcatexas.org/tca-events or email Ashley@TCATexas.org.
